How to: Use Write-Up to send presentation notes to Word to create handouts.
Solution:
Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Write-Up...'.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Write-Up...'. (The Write-Up dialog box appears.)
2) Select the desired page layout radio button from the 'Page Layout in Microsoft Word' group.

3) Select a method of pasting radio button from the 'Add Slides to Microsoft Word Document' group.

4) Click 'OK'. (PowerPoint starts Microsoft Word and inserts the presentation slides and blank lines into a Word document.)
5) In Word, select the 'File' menu and select 'Save As'. (The Save As dialog box appears.)
6) Select the desired folder from the 'Save in' box.
7) Type the desired filename in the 'File name' box.
8) Select 'Word Document' from the 'Save as type' drop-down list box.
9) Click 'Save'.
10) To exit Word, select the 'File' menu and select 'Exit'. (Word closes, and PowerPoint reappears.)
